Museo Parroquial

 

    Because of the reason that Santa Maria is one of the oldest churches in the province, a Parish Museum has been constructed to hold the precious collection of antiques, photographs, and documents related to the rich history and culture of the church and the town. Old pictures showing the development of the church structure are seen on the walls. The old altar and pulpit, together with the images of saints that once adorned the side retablos are also displayed in the museum. A highlight of the display is the collection of silver church vessels such as the missal stand, aspergillum, and a set of processional cross and candles.
